What do they do at MEPS?
MEPS is a Department of Defense joint-service organization staffed with military personnel and civilians. Their job is to assess an applicant’s physical qualifications, aptitude and moral standards as set by each branch of military service, the Department of Defense and federal law.
How long after MEPS do I go to basic training?

Can you back out after you swear in at MEPS?

Do you swear in twice at MEPS?

What to wear to MEPS swear in?
Looking at videos online, most people are wearing just a tee-shirt and jeans. Wear something comfortable, you’ll swear in again before you ship and if you are like most people this is when you will ask your family to come. Dress how ever you want because it’s going to be a long day.
Can you get laid in the military?
In the military you‘re not allowed to have sex with people directly in your chain of command and officer/enlisted relationships are forbidden (mostly) as fraternization which still mostly reverts back to the chain of command conflict of interest.
Do military recruiters lie?

Does MEPS check for scars?
If a few scars are all you’re worried about, then you’ll be fine. They can’t disqualify you for running through a bush and getting scratched up. If that were the case, no one would ever qualify. I have a pretty good scar from a dog bite and got through MEPS just fine.
